This petition was created to provide support for the students of Donegal School District. Countless people have become victims of harassment. Students can no longer walk the halls without being called slurs. The hallways, locker rooms, gymnasium, auditorium, and most importantly our school has lost its safety for students. Recently students have been reported and faced no consequences. With countless claims and many victims, the district has continued to ignore us. I, myself have reported students that call me slurs, sexual advances that made me uneasy and uncomfortable, and most importantly; today during a school-wide program a particular student who has done these things was given a platform to share his work. He is being encouraged by the school even with the reports of his actions. He continues to put countless people at harm; harm of himself and others. We want to be able to come to school and feel safe; that is something we no longer can do. Please come and stand together to create change. We need you to show there is a change to be made, the more the better and more likely to create a positive change in the community.
