Dear President Elect Donald Trump,

Hello. Your comments regarding unity during your election night victory speech and during your Thanksgiving address were something all Americans needed to hear. Please do something that makes your words actionable. This petition is about civics - the rights and duties of citizenship, not politics. However, this matter of civics needs to be addressed via your administration's policy as you will soon be POTUS. Has anyone put your first 100 days into the following context for you? 100 days is approximately 6.9% of your first term as POTUS. The purpose of this petition is simple. Please don't let almost 7% of your Presidency go by without showing all Americans, right up front, that you are taking your own request for "[our] guidance and [our] help so that we can work together and unify our great country" seriously. We are requesting that before your inauguration you add to your "First 100 Days" plan a comprehensive outline of your administration's social policy and that you name the member of your administration that will be tasked with the execution of that policy within your first 100 days as POTUS. Show us now that you want to alleviate the fears and concerns of all Americans. Not just your supporters but your opponents as well. Especially your opponents. On election night you said, "Now it’s time for America to bind the wounds of division; have to get together. To all Republicans and Democrats and independents across this nation, I say it is time for us to come together as one united people. It’s time. I pledge to every citizen of our land that I will be President for all Americans, and this is so important to me. For those who have chosen not to support me in the past, of which there were a few people, I’m reaching out to you for your guidance and your help so that we can work together and unify our great country." Many people felt optimism regarding their concern of a perpetually divided nation upon hearing those words. In the weeks since that night many people, supporters and opponents alike, have felt their optimism wash away. Many are again concerned; concerned about a divided nation but more specifically the potential status of civil rights and social equality in the United States of America during a Trump administration. By signing this petition each person is voicing their concern; some are also quite frightened. We want to know the specifics of your plan to unite all Americans. Unity that needs to happen in the face of a very vocal, energized, and emboldened sector of our population that are themselves unconcerned with equality for all or unification of our citizenry. 
Don't wait. America really needs this. Your legacy should include being a unifier. Plan it now. Implement that plan in your first 100 days. Thank you.
