People who work in the trades typically work overtime.  They put in their 40 hours to pay for FUTA, and FICA, and they pay their dues in their first 40. Why then are they subjected to even more taxes at the time and a half of double time rate for the same week?  They made their contribution already.    Do they get more medicaid?  Do they get more unemployment?  Do they get more Social security?  NO!   This is another example of the ongoing attack against blue collar workers.   Salaried workers pay the same amount whether the work 30 hours of 60.  They never have to pay on a time and half or double time rate.  

The workers of America propose that payroll taxes only be paid on the first 40 hours and no more.
