Killing for Conservation?

Elephants, along with many other animals are endangered because of the purposeful, and conscious slaughter carried out by humans with the same greedy intentions as the businessman that has just allowed this to endure. Not only has Mr. President given hunters the means to bring trophies of elephants back to the U.S., but he has done the same for lions. Populations of both species will continue to plummet down the drop to extinction as time passes. His principles for his actions are that this is in effort of ‘conservation’ and the rarity of these animals will make farmers of their area value them more. I, as well as the rest of concerned Americans already treasure the lives of the inhabitants of the Savanna, so why doesn’t our president?
