We all want clean air, clean water, and pristine lands for our public use. Keeping the current moratorium on any new coal leases on federal lands is vital to the health of millions of Americans. Energy produced from coal is the single biggest pollution source in the U.S. According to a recent MIT study air pollution already causes 200,000 early deaths each year in the U.S. We must tell President-Elect Donald Trump NOT to remove this critical executive order and put hundreds of thousands of citizens at risk for premature death. Deaths from air pollution are preventable! We all deserve the chance to live healthy, happy, and productive lives.
