Immediately Terminate HNFS Tricare-West Contract
Immediately Terminate HNFS Tricare-West Contract
The Issue
Health Net Federal Services was awarded the contract for Tri-Care West. Since then, health care for military familes in the affected region has become substandard. Referals for medical care require a waiver. Tri-Care has released a memo explaining the HNFS was unprepared for the transition and has failed. Furthermore, military families with special needs members have been tremendously affected and are awaiting and not receiving the required care needed. This is not how military families should be treated! They are the defenders of our great nation and deserve better than this. HNFS has failed and should have their contract terminated immediately. Furthermore, Billy Maynard, CEO, should publicly apologize to the affected military familes and step down as CEO. Also, the individual in the DoD that selected HNFS and awarded the contract should apologize to military families and step down immediately from their position.
