Millions of people in the uk and the united states of America suffer with life long incurable diseases. I myself have crohns disease, a painful bowel disease for which there is no known cure. while I myself am lucky to receive free NHS treatment for my illness there are many people in both the united kingdom and the united states that struggle to afford the cost of the very expensive medication that is so desperately needed, as a result many are unable to access health care. Up to 1.6 million Americans are known to have inflammatory bowel disease and 115,00 in the uk. it is imperative that individuals and indeed families receive help for their illness.
