I believe that we should stop producing our one cent coin, the penny. It wastes money that could be used to stop other problems. It is also a waste of time, we spend 12 hours a year buying things with pennies. That time also could be put into helping a cause. For charities instead of asking for pennies, the lowest coin would be the nickel, they would make 5 times more. Other countries have gotten rid of their penny, why can't we? There is no negative impact, only positive.
