In your victory speech you promised to be “the president for all Americans” and claimed you wanted to “unify our great country.” If that is true, begin by immediately condemning the racist, sexist, and homophobic acts being carried out across our nation in your name by people who claim to have supported your candidacy. Let your supporters know that you will not stand for such hate crimes and perpetrators can expect to be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Speak up and let all Americans know that bigotry and hatred are not acceptable.
