The World Health Organization (W.H.O.) is the world's C.D.C. It has provided numbers of Developing Countries with a global resource to increase the health of their people and the ability to fight off numbers of infections. A number of Americans are employed by the W.H.O. and believe in its effort to improve people's health and standards of living.

On July 7th, 2020, the Trump Administration formally withdrew from the W.H.O. This withdrawal will leave the W.H.O. without the resources of the United States and the leadership that it greatly needs, especially during a Global Pandemic.

The W.H.O. will still exist without the U.S., but it will remain a ghost of what it once was. It will not be able to support in tracking global diseases. It will have to reduce its resources to Developing Countries. And even more it will further the President's precedent of withdrawing from International Partnerships. This is not the first time the U.S. has needlessly withdrawn from a partnership, but it is an unprecedented and the largest step that has been taken.

Please sign this Petition to urge the Executive Branch to reverse their Formal Withdrawal from the World Health Organization. The United States has withdrawn too much of its leadership on the global level and it must remain a player on the global stage.
