U.S. telecom and broadband providers, including T-Mobile and Sprint, have begun introducing additional measures to help customers stay connected during the current novel coronavirus outbreak (COVID-19). These plan enhancements include unlimited data for current cell phone plans and extra hotspot data allowances, and are in addition to promises made in accordance with the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) nationwide connectivity pledge.
