Stop The Trump Administration's Attack On Flavored Eliquid.
The Issue
Cigarettes kill 1,300 people EVERY DAY and an estimated 480,000 a year in the US and have been for decades, but you can still buy them at ANY gas station or convenient store.
Tainted THC cartridges have been found to be the culprit for putting dozens in the hospital with a “mysterious vaping related illness”. Yet they want to ban flavor nicotine products as a result of people buying illegal street THC products, that will just push more people to buy illegal street products on both THC and Nicotine without the ability to purchase them from a reputable company, thus causing more harm than good and many more cases of illness than we currently have now as a result of this action.
In addition you will see a rise in cigarette sales which as stated before has been shown and proven for decades now to be extremely harmful and deadly.
There are 88,000 alcohol related deaths annually in US, the third most preventable cause of death is available in multiple “child appealing flavors” like birthday cake, strawberry and rainbow sherbet.
If you want to talk numbers, how about 1 in every 5 deaths is associates with poor diet, but McDonalds, Wendy’s and any other fast food joint has Happy Meals or Kids Meals with a toy inside!
Pop is practically the equivalent of drinking battery acid and it contains caffeine, A DRUG THAT IS JUST AS ADDICTIVE AS NICOTINE.....but I see kids as young as 2-3 years old sucking down a Coke. Let’s not even talk about the sugar and the 100 million people in the US who are diabetic or pre diabetic.
Vaping nicotine E-liquid has been around for over a decade and so far there have been 0 deaths, 0 cases of the horrible “popcorn lung”, the 1 and only case of “wet lung”, a handful of HARDWARE related accidents that were mostly caused due to user error, the increase in youth vaping that is significantly lower than most realize, and it is the reason MILLIONS of people have quit using traditional tobacco products.....but this is what we want to ban?!?!
No one is saying regulation is bad but the way the government and the media has portrayed vaping is damn near criminal. If it’s not about the money, and we have the public’s health in mind, well I gave you 5 examples above that are all preventable causes of death that should’ve been banned way before flavored E-Liquid.
This is a Street bought drug problem that is hurting the public, not a flavor option problem.
