There is not one security measure taken when children travel on airlines. My son who is 9 got on a plane with my mother recently and flew to California (with my permission) however, not one person asked if he belonged to her or what his name was or who he was traveling with.  Not one form of ID for him or a note from me allowing him to travel was asked to be provided.  This made me want to do something because of the trafficking that is going on in our world.  Anyone can take a child and board a plane and go anywhere in the USA without proof of guardianship.  We jump through so many security measures as adults to board a plane but not one measure is used to protect our children from being stolen and trafficked.  I am starting this petition to begin the steps needed to enact a new law that greater safety measures must be provided for a child when traveling. This is one way we can stop the bleed.
