This petition is for the lives that were brutally taken at Dunn's River Restaurant on August 8th, 2019 Arki Abdul-Haqq Murad and Barrington Anthony Brown.

Imagine waking up preparing your day to go to work, and a criminal from off the street comes into the establishment where you work to kill. These outstanding law-abiding citizens who were community leader, fathers, sons, and loved by so many weren't expecting that.

Darrell Keith Chaney Jr. is a habitual criminal offender who pleaded insane and will not stand trial for two first degree murder charges that he admitted to. Chaney has had several criminal charges over the years and the system failed several times to put him behind bars. At the time of the restaurant double killing Chaney was out on bond where he fled from the Tennessee stabbing case where he stabbed a neighbor twelve times, pleaded insane and was found sane at the time of that crime.

Please stand with the families of Arki Abdul-Haqq Murad and Barrington Anthony Brown to petition the court to ensure the safety of our citizens in our communities that Darrell Chaney will not be released again to harm others.
