No hunting and fishing in Federally Protected National Wildlife Refuges

The Issue

The Trump Administration is proposing hunting and fishing in Federally protected National Wildlife Refuges. This will impact 1.7 million acres of Federally protected land and wildlife. The main reason that the President wants to open these protected lands to hunters is to give hunters more access and get them out since most hunting lands are far away from where they live, making it difficult for them to have access to hunting lands.  For decades, our country has protected our wildlife and lands for a reason.  They must live and survive for generations for the good of our country and planet. Does anyone really think it is a good idea to open the gates of Federally Protected National Wildlife Refuges and allow hunting?
