Donald J. Trump plans on weakening the Endangered Species Act to allow economic factors to be considered when weighing what protections should be provided to vulnerable species.

This would let industries expand onto land required for ecological diversity and as such, put in danger many of America's endangered species such as the bald eagle, better known as the national emblem of the United States of America.

Noah Greenwald, the Center for Biological Diversity's endangered species director, said it best: "These changes crash a bulldozer through the Endangered Species Act's lifesaving protections for America's most vulnerable wildlife. For animals like wolverines and monarch butterflies, this could be the beginning of the end."

No one should ever sacrifice the planet for the good of any industry!
