It doesn't need any more explanation but I will list few points

1) In current century itself few viruses have originated from such markets in China and transferred over to humans causing economic and emotional pain to thousands of families and society as a whole .

2) Latest is COVID-19 virus.

3) COVID-19 has around 1% mortality rate, imagine a virus with 10% , 20% 50% mortality rate with a similar transmission speed like COVID-19 . 

4) We need to avoid animal kingdom to human virus transmission as much as possible.

5) We understand it's a big business in China and world can chip in to help workers working in this industry to acquire new skills and work in other industries to mitigate the hardship such a ban might cause for people working in this industry.
