Katie Wacha is a AMAZING friend, daughter, mother, sister and so much more.  Like A LOT of us she made some bad choices in life that lead her to where she is today.  She is currently in Mitchellville Iowa Womans Prison on a 5 year MANDATORY charge.  Katie allegedly robbed a place with a broken bb gun.  I am not here to say she is innocent or guilty of the charge.  What I am hear to defend is she deserves a chance to be let out on parole!  She is a mother of three amazing kids and I feel like the year that she has done in the system has been punishment enough.  Let her out on parole to prove herself!  Shes an amazing woman that made one wrong choice.  Nobody was harmed in this alleged crime so let her out on parole so she can be with her kids and family!  Why is it that for 5 years does she get to watch child molesters come in and leave on parole and she dont get a chance at it?
