The FBI completed an investigation of white supremacy infiltration into state and local law enforcement in 2006. They concluded that white supremacy groups have infiltrated law enforcement as both strategic initiatives by hate groups and self-initiated infiltration by individuals sympathetic to white supremacy causes. 

In the past 14 years, no action has occurred to correct these findings. While these individuals are protected under the first amendment to lawfully join these hate groups, they can be restricted in sensitive government positions such as law enforcement where their beliefs may interfere with their ability to do their jobs.

This petition is designed to force the FBI to investigate and remove all law enforcement personnel with ties to white supremacy groups. In addition, we demand more rigid hiring and recruiting practices designed to prevent those with ties to white supremacy groups or sympathizers from obtaining employment in law enforcement.
