The American people want telemarketing and robocalls banned. In a recent poll by West Boca News, 96% of respondents supported a ban.

We want no excuses. Ban all telemarketing and robocalls. 

Robocalls and telemarketing calls have become so common that many people get more unwanted calls on their phones than regular calls. It is driving people to cancel their home phones and is already intruding heavily on cell phones. 

Telemarketing and robocalls are particularly abusive to seniors, the uneducated and those with disabilities who often lack the ability to take countermeasures and are more prone to become victims of fraud.

Even for people who are tech-savvy, call blocking and other techniques are not perfect and impose a cost.

Telemarketing and robocalls need to be banned under federal law, and that ban needs to be enforced against abusers here in the United States as well as in other countries. 

It is time to restore peace of mind for all Americans and stop the abuse of our telephone systems by telemarketing and robocalls. Sign the petition and share widely!
