Increase punishment for dog fighting!

Increase punishment for dog fighting!
The Issue
What Is Dog Fighting?
Dog Fighting is a blood sport where two or more dogs are placed in a pit --spectators gamble one the winner-- Before the fight the owners beat the dog. They then rub the dogs bodies in raw meat so the dogs smell the scent and try to kill each other. They release the dogs then they fight until one suffers from blood lose, scars, broken bones, or even death. If the losing dog doesnt die from the fight the owner will shot, burn, beat, chock, stab or run over the dog with a car.
Why Dog Fighters Should Have Stricter Punishments
The Dogs are kept in terrible conditions.
The Owners beat the dogs.
The Punishments know arent enough.
Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Michael Vick was arrested for dog fighting and served 21 months in jail. He didnt get fired from his job, and can still go back to dog fighting. Which is one of the problems how do you know someone isnt going to go back to dog fighting.
In the middle district of Columbia --in 2013-- the FBI pulled a raid on a dog fighting underground facility and captured 8 men and saved 146 dogs. Two months after the raid the FBI interrogated the dog fighters and found out the dog fighters killed over +600 dogs. The FBI sentenced the men to 1 year in prison. If you murder someone you go to jail for life. If you kill 600 dogs you go to jail for 1 year. Problem? YES.
Two south Georgia men were sentenced to 4 months in prison for operating a multiple dog fighting rings. The FBI found 196 dogs in the operation. The FBI found men were betting between 50,000 and 200,000 on a dog fight.
Problem? Yes.
We need to increase the Sentences to 1 years if found in a dog fighting arena and a $5000 fined. If the Person is found with a dog fighting dog then the dog should be inprisoned for 5-10 years. If a person is found for owning a dog fighting arena or owning 10+ dogs used for dog fighting 15-30 year prisonment and a fine of 10000 dollar fined. All of these punishments should also have the added punishment of “Not being able to adopt a animal EVER”
