In fact, 3.7 million children have fallen back into poverty just in the past few months. This is so infuriating as we have a tool that can prevent this: the expanded Child Tax Credit (CTC). There is no other option at hand to provide this scale and scope of immediate, targeted, and equitable relief for families across the income spectrum.
