Hello All: Today is the last monthly Child Tax Credit check that will land in your bank account and that is not right. The success of these checks is so big it is hard to grasp. Let me break it down: in the month of November these checks kept 3.8 million children out of poverty - that means a roof over their head and food on their table.  Raise your voice, sing it from the rooftops - these checks should not end, click here to tweet a message demanding that our Senators keep these cash payments coming.  You can simply retweet this or put your own words and feelings with it. 

Today does not need to be the last check if the Senate passes the Build Back Better Act. A year-long extension is in that legislation. We do not need to go backwards. During COVID our government realized something we all have known for awhile, the power of cash. It gives people a sliver of relief, dignity and needed support.
