1000 Pledge to Protect Woolsington Woods & Wildlife

More than 1,000 people have now signed our petition calling for important wildlife habitat at Woolsington to be protected.

Newcastle City Council's leader has already pledged his support for a training ground at Woolsington, but it will remain to be seen how the proposed development would fully accommodate the ecological value of the area.

A recent freedom of information request revealed that Newcastle City Council has not had any correspondence with Newcastle United Football Club or North East Combined Authority in relation to development proposals on land surrounding Woolsington Hall.
