I have had confirmation that next Monday, (Dec 1st), The Labour party, Greens and Independants will meet with me at Parliament House in Canberra to accept copies of the petition. By Monday we are hopefull of having close on 30,000 signatures. I have not had any response from the Liberal National party. I have emailed Tony Abbott requesting that he or a Senior minister accept the petition on Monday. I have called his office as recently as this morning to advise that the other main parties will be meeting with me on Monday. As of today I still have not recived any acknowledgement of my email or any comment on whether Tony Abbott or a Senior LNP minister will meet me to accept the petition. To keep the pressure up if you have a twitter account please twitter Mr Abbott (@TonyAbbottMHR) and retweet to all your twitter contacts to get them to tweet to him as well.
