The Coalition Government continues to put forward the line that the funds are not there to make an improved offer to our ADF. We know this is a lie..!! We have close to 22,000 signatures, which at first glance might seem impressive, but we need more, and we need them quickly. With 57,000 ADF active members the family, friends , associates and social links for our serving members should be close to 100,000. Please use every contact, social media, coffee meeting or shopping meeting or otherwise to spread the word and get signatures on the petition. Every single effort to spread the word that gets a signature will pay benefits. We have to strike hard and we have to strike soon. We cannot let this Government stall and push this issue off the front page. They are clearly thinking that we will tire and accept the decision from the DFRT as the inevitable and we will go away. WE WILL NOT GO AWAY !! This is too important for us as a community to lie down and accept. This is an attack on our Defence Forces that protect our chosen way of life, our freedoms and our futures. This is an attack on our children and their children. If we don't have an effective and motivated ADF then all the sacrifices of all the men and women who have fallen in battles as well as those that have fallen after the battle with mental injuries will have been for naught. As a country, we owe them better than this paltry and insulting offer.
