Well it is Monday morning and we now have 17,000 patriotic Australians who have signed the petition. To each and every one of you, Thankyou so much. This is a fantastic participation level, and we are only five days since we started. However it would appear that the Government continue to ignore the fact that our Defence personnel should not be treated this way. In an article in this mornings Sydney Morning Herald by Mark Kenny, our prime minister again states in a response to Bill Shorten: "in these circumstances, a greater increase in defence pay is simply unaffordable". We need to keep the pressure on and we need to continue to share this petition across whatever media we can to get this inept Government to take notice of us.
