Don't move the ALC

The Issue

The Adult Learning Center (ALC) is located at 211 Crescent St., which is centrally located, walking distance to most neighborhoods in Brockton, the BAT station, and the Brockton Commuter Rail station.

It currently serves 850 students, with 1200 people on the waitlist. The ALC helps graduates earn their High School Equivalency certificate (commonly known as GED), U.S. Citizenship, CNA license, Cisco certificate, and attain English language proficiency.

The current building has 13 classrooms, an ample parking lot, and auxiliary parking. There are talks of moving the program to a smaller site, the old Goddard School on Union St. This building does not have adequate parking and has fewer classrooms than the current school.

Please sign this petition in support of keeping the ALC open at 211 Crescent St.

YOU DO NOT NEED TO DONATE AFTER YOU SIGN THE PETITION. THE MONEY DOES NOT GO TO THE ADULT LEARNING CENTER.
