On June 22nd, 2022 my brother, Charlie Alleman was taken from this world because one man decided to drink too much and drive. My beautiful brother was on his way to work at 11:45 p.m.and he was so close to making it. He was just 1 minute away from his job when he was at the light making a left hand turn in his brand new car he had got just a couple hours before when Jacob A. Lederer was going at a high rate of speed and hit his car on his side. My brother died on impact and then from the force of the car hitting him, his car went up in flames. Before Jacob A. Lederer killed my brother 3 different people called in and reported a drunk driver on the road. The police didn’t get there until he had already killed my baby brother. It took my brother being killed for them to take action and by that time he was already gone. They were too late. Two police officers who barely knew anything showed up to my house at 2:30 a.m. and asked my mom if she had a son or knew someone driving a red Volkswagon. She said yes my son and they asked her to sit down. They told her my brother had been in an accident and she asked them to take her to the hospital so she can be with him. They said ma’am I’m sorry but he’s not at the hospital, he’s at the morgue in Minnetonka. I was sleeping at my boyfriend’s house when I got the disturbing call from my mom that my brother had been killed in an accident. I jumped in the car and John drove me as fast as he could to her. When I got home they were still there and they explained he had got hit by a drunk driver and he didn’t make it and that we needed to go identify the body the next day. After they left to go to my dads house and explain the news, we received a call from the coroner asking for his dental records because they had no other way of identifying him because of the fire and there is no way we would be able to identify him and we aren’t allowed to see the body because he was so badly burned. The police NEVER told us his car was on fire. We had to wait until 5 p.m. while they did the autopsy to find out if my innocent baby brother died on impact or was burned alive. Thank god he died on impact and didn’t suffer. They recommended having him cremated but we can’t handle the thought of him being burned any more. We can’t have an open casket. My amazing mother and I will never be able to see his beautiful face ever again because Jacob A. Lederer decided to drink and drive. His life will never be the same. I know my brother is in heaven watching over my parents and is getting it all set up for when it’s our time to come join him. Charlie Mo Alleman you are the love of Mommy and I’s life and I promise we won’t stop until he’s locked behind bars. You deserve justice and you WILL get it. WE WILL GET YOU JUSTICE BABY BOY. “Our bond will never be broken no matter what happens”. God needed you home and now you are our precious angel boy��
