Today over 20 opponents will be speaking against granting the Modification to return this property from Church Use (since 1966) back to Housing (as zoned in the 1950s). So far there have been 36 letters in opposition...and numerous comments on this Petition. Thank you for your support. If you plan to attend the hearing today, details are provided below. You can also watch live and recorded if you can't make it in person. Every one of the actions you have taken, from sharing the discussion with neighbors to speaking in opposition are highly appreciated. We've been told that they are counting our numbers. This is truly an uphill battle. This is our first and possibly only opportunity to have a public forum on this subject, which we feel is critical to Virginia Beach.

Planning Commission public hearings air live on VBTV, which is available on Cox Cable Channel 48, Verizon Cable Channel 45, and online. 

Meetings are rebroadcast on Cox Channel 48 the following morning at 9 and on Cox Channel 47 and Verizon Cable Channel 47 at 7 p.m. on two consecutive Fridays following the live meeting. The meeting will also be available online for two months beginning the Friday after the live hearing.
