**** TORIES IN COUNTY COUNCIL -ADA BELFIELD TO BE SOLD AS 'GOING CONCERN' OR SOLD EMPTY****

Tory controlled Derbyshire County council are set to sell Ada Belfield, with a consultation having only two options - to sell as a going concern (privatise) or to sell as an empty building.

All this under a so called Labour government - they MUST intervene and prevent this.

The residents and workers deserve better than this cruel threat just before Xmas.

The award winning building was only completed 4 years agi at a cost if £12 million. 

It's unclear whether the library will be included in the sale.

In buried papers regarding the 'consultation' in our care homes, Belper has no real choice.

But there is a choice - a choice to fund our social care properly and keep it open.
