Don’t let the EPA erase your right to clean air
The Issue
The Environmental Protection Agency is trying to repeal the 2009 endangerment finding — the foundation of America’s clean air protections.
This landmark finding, based on overwhelming scientific evidence, formally recognized that greenhouse gases from fossil fuels endanger human health and the environment.
It gave the EPA the legal authority to regulate pollution from vehicles, power plants, and industry — and has protected millions from toxic air and rising climate threats.
Now the Trump administration wants to erase it.
EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin claims that the science from 2009 was too “pessimistic,” even though climate-related disasters have become more deadly and frequent since then. The agency is now holding a public comment period on a proposal that would strip the EPA of its ability to regulate climate pollution — with devastating consequences for our health, our planet, and our future.
We are calling on the EPA, Congress, and President Trump to keep the 2009 endangerment finding in place!
Reject any attempt to strip the EPA of its authority to regulate climate pollution and uphold Americans’ right to clean air and a livable future.
Air pollution kills. Climate change is accelerating. The science has only gotten stronger — and the need for action more urgent.
Sign this petition to defend your right to clean air, strong climate protections, and a safer future for the next generation.
