The global security situation is unstable with the war between Ukraine and Russia. Russia has not stopped even though they have been given sanctions. Currently there are around 4 million Ukrainans leaving their country to find refuge.

Vladimir Putin, the Russian president, is responsible for this war. He sent an army to illegally to attack civilians, including bombing a hospital in Mauripol.

So, why is Putin still invited for the G20 Leaders Meeting in Indonesia this November?

Indonesia should uphold human rights and support world peace. I think, by deliberately inviting Putin before the conflict settles, Indonesia isn’t showing their support for Ukraine.

Hence, through this petition we would like to ask the UK Government to speak to their Indonesian allies and refuse the attendance of Putin at the G20 Leaders Meeting next November, UNLESS he solves the conflict with Ukraine.

Indonesia, who currently holds the G20 presidency, should show their support to human rights!
