Don't Let Big Development Come at the Expense of Castle Gate's Working Families, Longtime
The Issue
Castle Gate residents are facing the closure of their community and the possibility of losing homes they have spent years paying for, maintaining, and improving. Many residents own their homes but rent the land beneath them, and some of these homes may be difficult, financially unrealistic, or impossible to relocate.
The issue is ensuring that working families, longtime residents, and homeowners are treated fairly during this process and that relocation or compensation reflects what residents actually stand to lose—not simply the cost of moving a home.
We are asking for transparency, meaningful resident involvement, adequate time to seek independent advice, and fair consideration of each homeowner's individual circumstances and investment.
