The Character.Ai developers are forcing us, the users to switch into the newer character ai website, which is filled with bugs and missing features that the users want (such as rooms), the developers have recently announced that they are discontinuing the old website, which is what most of the userbase is using, doing this would cause most of the userbase to leave, as the developers are not listening to the fanbase, who have constantly been asking in the subreddit of r/CharacterAI and elsewhere to not force users into the new website, due to the newer website being laggier, buggier, and such.

There has been reported cases in the new website where the chat history for the chatbots wouldn't load, login issues, UI issues, LLM response quality, over the top restriction with the filters, and so on.
