Don't Destroy Our Soft Play Global Shred Ventures Ltd!
The Issue
We, along with numerous other families in our community, have been utilizing the soft play facilities at Adventure Parc Snowdonia for as long as we've had children. We are therefore devastated to learn that Global Shred Ventures Limited intends to remove these facilities from the site during its proposed redevelopment.
The soft play facility is of vital importance to the local community especially during the shoulder seasons and the winter months. It allows us, and many like us, to provide our children with a warm and safe place of activity and connection irrespective of the weather outside.
Notably, it is the only soft play venue of significant size in the surrounding area, and the only one that caters to very young children. The existence of it is crucial for our community; contributing to the wellbeing of local and visiting families and children attending the Primary School, Cylch and Ti a Fi. The soft play is also the only facility on the Adventure Parc Snowdonia site suitable for the youngest of children, and one of the only activities which do not require an adult to child ratio of 1:1, meaning they are accessible to far more families.
Global Shred Ventures Limited's decision not to retain the soft play is a decision that would impact the lives of many, particularly those who depend on these activities for their children's physical and social development.
We, therefore, implore each individual who has benefited from these facilities, whether local or visitor, or who understands the importance of such communal spaces to join us in this plea. We ask Global Shred Ventures Limited to retain these facilities - for example by relocating them to the hub/restaurant and continuing providing families with access to this vital resource while also increasing the footfall to the hub/restaurant, creating additional profit for the company and boosting the chances of it's longevity.
Please sign this petition and support us in preserving this resource that has for years enhanced the wellbeing and lives of children and families in our valley.

There is a public consultation taking place at the Hilton Garden Inn Snowdonia Dolgarrog on Wednesday 4th December 4-7pm. Please attend and show your support for our soft play!
