We had Nik's story covered by the Telegraph-Journal and its affiliate papers. 

I have also had an opportunity this morning to provide some consultation as a parent and social worker and speak to the lead team in place that is currently looking at revamping the Inclusive Education policy. I felt the discussion went very well. I discussed not only our personal story but to the broader issues, parents needing decision-making power, human rights concerns, and students with ASD falling through gaping holes in the system with a lack of supports for rehabilitation/remediation, mental health, and social issues. Concerns were also raised regarding early modified tracks and subsequent inequitable educational outcomes etc.
