Petition updateDollar Stores: Phase out toxic chemicals found in your products and stop exposing your customers, their children, and your employees to unnecessary risks. Now it’s Dollar General’s turn...

The Campaign for Healthier Solutions
Nov 12, 2015
Thanks for your support when we delivered your petition to 99 Cents Only on Monday--our press conference and petition delivery was covered in TV stations across the nation!
Today, we’re outside of Dollar General’s corporate headquarters in Tennessee to deliver your signature, along with 150,000 other petition signatures urging them to get toxic chemicals out of their products -- and there’s something you can do to help.
While we’re doing our press conference outside, it would be great for you to call Dollar General and get our message inside their headquarters. Please take a second to call Dollar General and urge them to get toxic chemicals out of their products right now!
Here’s the number: (323) 980-8145
Here’s a sample of what you could say:
“My name is ___________ and I am one of over 150,000 people who signed the Campaign for Healthier Solutions Change.org petition in support of removing toxic products from your shelves -- because I believe that your customers should have access to clean, healthy products, not just those who can afford it (or insert your own reason).
I am calling to support a meeting with members from the Campaign for Healthier Solutions who are at your headquarters today. They travelled from across the country to talk to you about replacing toxic products on your shelves. The least you can do is listen and take action to protect the health and safety of your customers.
Please, remove harmful products from your shelves and replace them with less toxic and healthier items.”

Thank you for making this call! Let us know how it went, or what they said by leaving a note on our Facebook page (Campaign for Healthier Solutions) or by tweeting @StopToxics.
Thanks for everything you do!
Sincerely,
Jose Bravo
