Thanks to your support and people like you, we’ve now gathered over 100,000 signatures -- and we wanted you to see this urgent update about the campaign: Over the next few months, millions of families will be getting ready to go ‘back to school’ by heading to their local dollar store -- and almost everyone will assume that the products they buy are safe for their children. However, (as you know) recent testing has shown that a staggering number of products sold at dollar stores contain toxic chemicals at levels that can harm our kids, including children’s toys and back to school supplies. Even worse, the major dollar store chains (Family Dollar, Dollar Tree, Dollar General and 99cents Only) are refusing to remove toxic chemicals from the products they sell. So, we’re turning up the heat. We’re planning a series of ‘back to school’ protests at dollar stores across the nation to educate families about the toxic chemicals found in their products--and to shame Dollar Tree, Family Dollar, and Dollar General into protecting our families from the toxic chemicals in their products--but we need your help.
