Simone Dines, registered breeder with the prefix SIMMICOR should not be protected by Dogs Victoria, a peak body that promotes "excellence in dog behaviour, health, companionship, work, community acceptance and responsible ownership" according to their website.

Simone Dines has betrayed all of those principles by knowingly passing rescued dogs to a former lover to chain up indefinitely in bushland. These long suffering dogs have become known as the Blind Bight Dogs.

Dogs Victoria's mission statement states;

To be consistently recognised in the community as a professional organisation which manages a vibrant, progressive and responsible purebred canine organisation. To be clearly recognised and respected by state and local governments as the organisation responsible for purebred canine activities in Victoria.

For Dogs Victoria to be able to claim to live by its own mission statement it needs to deregister and ban members such as Simone Dines who bring the organisation and its membership into disrepute.
