Dogs Shot in Apache County by Deputy Ends NOW!

Dogs Shot in Apache County by Deputy Ends NOW!
The Issue
Warning: Animal Death and Cruel "Euthanasia" Practice
Hello Arizona, and the rest of the civilized/humane people I know are all across the country.
This is DISGUSTING!
I saw this on Nextdoor, and it's horrendous.
(The link below is the OP's account, and the post referenced was written this morning, 26 June 2024. It's the first post at the top of their feed; thank you so much Keegan and Cameron Harmon for bringing this darkness into the light.
The post refers to a local to Arizona news source, 12 News, article about an Apache County deputy, with clearance from his sergeant, who atrociously shot seven dogs—seven puppies. Even worse, they were penned in an enclosure all together when he shot them. (The photo at the top of this petition is from the actual incident.)
Warning the aforementioned article below from 12 News is graphic and includes body cam footage. The title refers to a cursory attempt to work with a woman who was in the middle of working to rehome the abandoned dogs when Apache County became impatient, and killed the puppies. After she found out, she spent three months to get a public records request processed to find out more.
Again, the article below contains body cam footage of the killings:
'Can you take the dogs?' Apache County deputy shoots 7 dogs that were abandoned and the county had no place for them
Once more, which isn't enough, this is disgusting animal cruelty on a level that ought to be criminal, especially because as they were in the process of gathering the corpses, they discovered one of the puppies was still alive.
Please sign to bring this further to public awareness and create accountability for the gruesome "solution" to a "problem" that has paths that aren't tantamount to felony crimes of animal cruelty by killing dogs with a pistol at point blank range.
ABSOLUTELY VILE!!!
Thank you to everyone who signs!!!
