The pandemic dog boom has increased dogs in our neighbourhood and more off-leash areas are needed to train and socialize these dogs. Socialized dogs are known to be kinder to all people, animals and children.

West Aldershot, already lacking in so many amenities has no appropriate off leash areas. Although King Road park exists, it is often crowded and is a far drive for people on the west end.

Please help our community create a space for dogs to socialize by signing this petition. We will be applying to the City of Burlington for a local park - potentially in some of the locally unused areas of the neighbourhood (e.g., some section of hidden valley park).

Signing will help the entire community - not just the dog owners. Socialized dogs are better, safer, gentler dogs.
