Help us save our dog

Please help our family save our dog...
he made a mistake and they label him as as “dangerous” and they are trying to put him to sleep.
Demon is a 9 year old Siberian Husky, friendly and loving dog who has never shown any signs of aggression. On June 26th, 2020 while we were out on a business trip, my son and daughter in-law were staying in our house to care for our three dogs. He is not a dangerous dog, he has never bite anyone and he has never done anything wrong for the nine years we have had him as certified emotional support dog for my husband.
It is a very unfortunate situation for everyone, as we would never want our granddaughter to be harmed. As of today she is fine and doing great without any inconvenience.
However, we believe this was entirely preventable had our son and daughter in-law didn’t left her unsupervised and common sense been followed.
The mother of my granddaughter pleaded to the county to have the dog killed, despite us having the real evidence from the police statement stated by my own son the father of my granddaughter, none of the adults were supervising or even in the same room with the child. As the police statement explains; “On this afternoon my daughter was playing with Demon and his ball. Upon seeing the dog wanted to go inside of his kennel I opened the door and left it open. When I saw my daughter going to the living room to watch her cartoons I went to wake up my wife and about to 2 minutes after I went to get my wife we hear her screaming and saw what had happened. Immediately we put the dog away and called 911.”
He did not seek out to bite our granddaughter, he was simply reacting to her who took his toy from inside his crate. He has played hundreds of times with her and he has only shown love to her since she was born and everyone around him including other children. Animal Services now is making decisions without hearing our part of the story. I am desperate and heartbroken as my poor Demon is in a cage treated like one of the most dangerous dogs in the nation.
We haven’t been given any option to see him. We are saddened and outraged we were not given an opportunity to find a better outcome for Demon. Please! Please! Save our dog!!
