Doesn't Uptown Pagosa deserve a nature park?

The Issue

It takes hundreds of years for our native pines to grow to full maturity and only days to destroy the natural beauty we know and love here in Pagosa.

Do you know that Downtown Pagosa has 8 parks and Uptown has none, even though 85% of the population lives outside of downtown?

Let's work to save the trees within the proposed Pagosa West development across from the hospital and City Market for a nature park for all to enjoy rather than a commercial development that is not needed.  If you live in Archuleta County and you agree a park is a better use of this gorgeous property, then please sign our petition to encourage the Town, owner, and the developer to take a land conservancy approach for this development.
