We are two doctors who have written a letter (click here to read the full letter) that calls for a halt to gender affirming care for minors. In the letter, we discuss how the field destroys basic biological definitions, the dangers of the 'treatments' offered for children, ie. puberty blockers, sex hormones, gender surgeries, and how it is leading to a collapse of trust in the medical field. 

We are using this Change.org petition to collect signatures. The letter will not be released to the public until at least several hundred doctors have agreed to sign on. Therefore, your name WILL NOT be released as part of the letter until this goal is met. 

There is a large undercurrent of doctors who agree with the content of the letter but are simply afraid to speak out due to the current political/social climate. We hope to solve this issue of fear by building up a large coalition before going public. There is STRENGTH and SAFETY in numbers.

Fighting back against gender ideology is an existential crisis for the medical field. It destroys basic biology and medical ethics which are the cornerstones of the field. If doctors do not stand up to this, the field will continue to lose public support and trust.
