Carlos was sentenced to 20 years in prison for a crime he was wrongly identified for by drunk or high witnesses both disclosed that they had been drinking and or smoking marijuana on the night of the altercation.

1 witness whos eye site diminishes when objects are 5 feet away without wearing glasses yet was able to see an altercation 50 feet away without wearing her glasses and was able to correctly identify the assailant. Witnesses were shown 5 photographs and neither identified Carlos in the line up! Two of the witnesses made misidentifications when shown photo montages seven months after the incident. No in court identification of Carlos took place just going on surveillance footage or unreliable witnesses.

He was charged with firearm enchantments but no gun was ever retrieved or found nor any evidence, surveillance or witnesses saw him with a gun. They identified the assailant as driving a silver Chevrolet Impala which neither Carlos or his mother owned!This really is a bad case of wrong place wrong time!

He has already served 5 years of his sentence and is in a low level facility he stays out of trouble, is a family orientated man with 4 beautiful children he supports and has the love and support of his family. He shows love and compassion for his sister struggling with lupus and his mothers physical disabilities all whist serving time.He is focused educated and keeps his faith and remains positive he will get the justice he deserves .
