Keep Callejon a K-8 and Guarantee Middle School for K-5!

Don Callejon School was envisioned and built to be a K-8 school. Its elementary students enjoy the benefits of having an exceptionally supportive parent community. Because of the Santa Clara Unified School District's enrollment practices beginning with the school's inception, the middle school has been denied the same benefits that come from strong parental community support. It is time to correct this situation and keep families and students together, and allow children/families who have been attending and investing in the elementary school, to have a guarantee to attend the middle school.
Santa Clara Unified School District should remain true to the original vision for Don Callejon School and keep it a K-8, and give DCS K-5 students guaranteed enrollment in the DCS middle school.
As a parent or other DCS stakeholder, I am committed to provide the financial and on-the-ground support to make DCS an exceptional STEAM-focused, K-8 school that will prepare its students to be thriving, contributing members of the Silicon Valley.
