Don Callejon School was envisioned and built to be a K-8 school.  Its elementary school community is exceptionally committed to supporting the development and growth of the students.  Because of the Santa Clara Unified School District's enrollment practices beginning with the school's inception, the middle school community has been fractured causing many students to leave their community school (and school district) and to lose the close bonds and support they once enjoyed with their classmates, teachers, and extended parent community.   Now that the school district is reviewing its enrollment plans for the school, we have the opportunity to mend this situation and keep families, students, and teachers working together to build a better future for all of our students.   

Santa Clara Unified School District should remain true to the original vision for Don Callejon School and keep it a K-8!

As a parent or other DCS stakeholder, I am committed to provide the financial and on-the-ground support to make DCS an exceptional STEAM-focused, K-8 school that will prepare its students to be thriving, contributing members of the Silicon Valley.
