Haggen Food & Pharmacy recently acquired 5 grocery stores. In an effort to cut costs, they terminated the employment of 14 developmentally disabled employees. Most of these employees were long-term and valued by loyal patrons of the stores.

If they want loyal customers, they must do right by their employees and the communities they serve.

Join me in calling on Haggen to rehire these employees. If they cannot rehire them, they must provide generous severance packages to them as compensation.
