SAVE THE DOGS FROM APRIL’S / “SYDNEY’S” CUSTODY & PRESS FELONY CHARGES!
The Issue
April Mclaughlin (new legal name Sydney Sierra Taylor McKinley) was recently arrested on charges of (1) VULNERABLE ADULT ABUSE, (55) Counts of ANIMAL CRUELTY, and (55) Counts of ANIMAL ABUSE. Her bond was only set to only $2500.
How she was able to get away with this for so long bewilders many protestors of her animal treatment. She is running a 501c3 under false pretenses. To say that her animal treatment is “poor” is beyond an understatement, it is evil and criminal.
She claimed to be able to provide the care for special needs dogs, but instead hoarded them, causing extremely devastating living conditions. She acquired 57 dogs from over 30 different rescues. She has over 16 aliases that she would go by in order to obtain more animals. Some of the dogs that were rescued are going to be humanely euthanized by the Arizona Humane Society due to extremely bad health conditions.
The fact that her bond was set to only $2500 is unacceptable. This woman should have been kept behind bars without bail.
She unfortunately was released on bail. The original charges were thrown out, but this is normal for Arizona criminal procedure. The next step is that she will go before a grand jury.
On October 11th, the judge denied April/Sydney her petition. She will not be getting the 13 dogs that she wanted back, but she has 14 days to appeal this decision.
Please sign this petition to keep the neglected and tortured dogs out of April’s custody forever, and to have the State of Arizona press felony charges against her!
