Dredd ("3D") was one of the best comic-book based movies in 2012; it gave the fans what they wanted and more - not only the fans though, everyone who saw the movie was pleased and became a fan. I speak from my own experience, however the movie wasn't very successful in the U.S. why? It wasn't because of the acting, it wasn't because of the production quality - the movie nailed everything perfectly, even the 3D - it was absolutely perfect. What was bad was the marketing and advertising. Whoever did the advertising/marketing campaign should be shot. Many people didn't see the movie because they didn't hear about it.

We need a sequel to this epic movie, this needs to be turned into a franchise like The Dark Knight it has the potential. 

How to get a sequel to this movie? Simple. Sign the petition and let your voice be heard. After all, even Karl Urban stated if we want a sequel we must be vocal about it. So sign the petition it costs nothing and let's you let the movie studios know you want more better quality movies.
